24th July 2010
Windsurfing: felixstowe dip
Wind Direction: southerly
Wind Stength: F4
Surf / Sea State: wavy chop
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: great warm
Max Speed: 24 kts (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 11 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Unpredicted seabreeze saw me flying to felixstowe, after work, and meeting with andy mex, nice barn!! swainy was rigging 8.0 at the dip, but if he wasn't there I would have gone manor, as FFSC did with colsey and another. manor was flat and would have gone faster.
Had a brilliant sail with swainy and his £25 ebay fanatic bargain. The wind was marginal to F4 and swainy was flying on it. In my haste I used the 44cm fin on the rocket 76 instead of the 48cm and swainy gave me the run around for a while as he was very fast close reaching. we went for a mega blast to the manor and its was brillant. We had a great dog fight for the couple of miles and there was nothing in it. Formulas were out at the manor.
The fight continued on the way back, but at last I found the older board achilles heel. They cant run broad at full pelt and Mark had to use the waves to keep the board speed up, but there was only 50 metres between us after a couple of miles.
Respect to swainy, the fanatic and ebay!
